Our Policies
Aksharaa Kindergarten does not discriminate against students based on race, color, cognitive ability or religion, or because of national or ethnic origin.
We follow a transparent and inclusive admission policy. We strive to maintain a high level of diversity. A student’s financial background, family occupation, gender balance in each classroom and ethnicity are areas taken into consideration.
- We maintain a high level of economic, ethnic and occupational diversity of parents; and a gender balance in classrooms.
- Priorities are given to children of citizens of Nepal or a foreign returnee. We also cater to students from foreign nations.
- Priorities will be given to siblings of the students already at Aksharaa, students on the waiting list for various grade levels, and students of the local community.
- Students seeking admission should contact the school at the earliest to ensure high chances of admission.
- children should undergo an assessment to evaluate their readiness for kindergarten. This assessment include activities to assess cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Children below 1.5 years are not accepted as they are not developmentally ready for the kindergarten curriculum/education.
- Once a child is accepted, parents will need to complete enrollment forms and required to submit additional documentation, such as immunization records, birth certificate, Pp size photo and other accessories.
- School reserves the right to admission in the school.
